Overview

Pre-Enrollment enables users to link their WWPass Key to their corporate account before SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) is enforced. After completing the enrollment process, users can authenticate to the SAML applications associated with the Application using their WWPass Key.

Guide for Administrators

Prerequisite

The Pre-Enrollment section is displayed only after at least one SAML Service Provider (SP) has been configured for the Application.

Enable Pre-Enrollment

  1. Open the required Application in the Management Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Pre-Enrollment section.

  3. Enable the following option:

Enable pre-enrollment link for this application
  4. Click Save Settings.

  5. After the configuration is saved, an Enrollment Link will be generated. Copy this link and distribute it to your users using a communication channel.

Disable Pre-Enrollment

  1. Clear the Enable pre-enrollment link for this application checkbox.

  2. Click Save Settings.

Disabling Pre-Enrollment prevents new enrollments but does not remove previously completed enrollments.

Administrator Notification

When an user successfully completes the enrollment process, the application owner receives a notification containing:

  • the Application name;
  • the user's verified email address.

Guide for Users

  1. Obtain the Enrollment Link from your company administrator.

  2. Open the link in your web browser.

  3. Scan the displayed QR code using the WWPass mobile application and approve the authentication request.

  4. Enter your email address.

If your organization restricts enrollment to a specific email domain, use an email address from that domain. For example:

    name@company.com
  5. A verification code will be sent to the specified email address. Enter the code on the enrollment page.

  6. After the email address has been successfully verified, a confirmation message will be displayed.

Your WWPass Key is now linked to your email address and is ready to be used for SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) with applications configured under this Application.

Important Notes

  • An enrollment session remains valid for 30 minutes. If the session expires, reopen the Enrollment Link and repeat the enrollment process.
  • If the specified email address already exists in your WWPass profile and has already been verified, additional email verification may not be required.
  • If you do not receive the verification code, check your Spam/Junk folder or contact your company administrator.
