Delete a Certificate
You can delete a certificate using the Delete function in Dashboard's Certificates tab.
This function should only be used for certificates that:
- Are no longer needed.
- Have expired.
- Were associated with your PassKey in error.
Once a certificate is deleted, it cannot be used for authentication with your PassKey. You will no longer have access to the service, application, or site the certificate was for unless you:
- Obtain a new certificate and associate it with your PassKey.
- Have another way to authenticate, such as a username and password.
To delete a certificate:
- your PassKey to your computer.
- Click Dashboard's Certificates tab. Certificate information is retrieved.
- Click the Delete icon
at the end of the certificate’s row.
- When a message asks if you are sure you want to delete certificate, click
.
- When prompted, enter the access code for your PassKey and click
. The certificate is deleted. The delete process might take some time.
